On Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2006, the legendary Iron Maiden will celebrate its 50th year as a band with an enormous "Run For Your Lives World Tour" at Hersheypark Stadium! An extraordinary celebration of one of the greatest bands in history. Be prepared for a monumental show with an epic old-school set list consisting of the majority of the band's first nine albums, all backed up by an enormous stage production!
Expect to hear Iron Maiden's galloping anthems such as "The Trooper", "Hallowed Be Thy Name" and the breakout hit "Run to the Hills". Bruce Dickinson has stated that fans can expect many deep cuts from throughout the band's career as well as some of the largest tracks they have ever played live including "Rime of the Ancient Mariner".
Thrash metal masters, Megadeth, will also take the stage, prepare to headbang to the technical metal masterpieces of "Symphony of Destruction" and "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due".

This massive trek is a celebration of the band's 50th anniversary and features a historic, fan-voted setlist focused almost entirely on the band’s groundbreaking first nine studio albums. Fans will experience legendary epics like "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and deep cuts they haven’t heard live in decades, alongside signature hits like "The Trooper" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name."
Maiden, the pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, promises a state-of-the-art production that requires stadiums like Hersheypark to fully showcase it. Expect to see the band's legendary zombie mascot, Eddie, in multiple colossal forms, backed by the unbelievable energy of frontman Bruce Dickinson, the famously multi-talented vocalist who also happens to be a commercial airline pilot!
Joining them for this monumental show are fellow legends and members of "The Big Four" of thrash: Megadeth!
Led by the uncompromising Dave Mustaine, Megadeth brings their brand of technically brilliant thrash metal to Hershey. Mustaine, the band's sole constant member, originally formed the band after his infamous split from Metallica, vowing to be "faster and heavier." Prepare for a set packed with genre-defining classics "Holy Wars… The Punishment Due." Look out for their chilling mascot, Vic Rattlehead, who is a staple of their album art.
This epic concert takes place at the historic Hersheypark Stadium. Opened in 1939, this versatile open-air venue is the most prominent outdoor stadium between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. With a massive concert capacity of up to 30,000, it guarantees a huge atmosphere for this metal spectacle in the heart of "Chocolatetown, USA."
